Dr. Ilian Iliev, Founder and Managing Director, EcoMachines Ventures
Dr. Ilian Iliev founded EcoMachines Ventures in 2013. Prior to that he co-founded and was CEO of CambridgeIP Ltd (2006-2012), which he built into a leading technology strategy player in the innovation space (partial exit through sale of data and software business to multi-billion U.S. investment fund). Strategy advisor to the Board of Allen & Overy, a top 10 global law firm with $1bn+ in revenues (2004-2006). In the 1990s founded and led 100-person family business in Southern Africa in the medium and high voltage space (1997-2001). Projects included building a power plant, industrial facilities, real estate and others.
Alex Pitt, Co-Founder, Mustard Seed
Alex is a co-founder of Mustard Seed, a principal investor in world-class early-stage businesses that generate compelling financial and societal returns. Lucy Rands, Associate, ETF Partners
Lucy is an Associate at ETF Partners. She supports the team in deal sourcing, deal execution and in helping the current portfolio companies to grow. With a technical background in Materials Science and Solar Photovoltaics, Lucy is passionate about innovative technologies and how they can achieve environmental sustainability.
Peter Bachmann, Director, Scottish Equity Partners
Peter is an investor with > £1bn 3rd party equity deployed in over 100 successful global infra investments covering all sectors. He is currently a Director at Scottish Equity Partners (£1.1bn FUM) where he is leading the new investment activities for the £135mm Environmental Capital Fund (ECF). ECF is investing into low-carbon infrastructure projects and development platforms across all of the energy related sectors.
Alastair Stewart, Director of IP Capital, IP Group
Alastair joined IP Group in 2014 and brings over ten years of Venture Capital, Private Equity and Investment Banking experience to the Group. He began his career at JPMorgan and has gained both investment and strategy experience at leading financial institutions, investment firms and the NHS.

Charlotte Croffie is the Director for Entrepreneurship at UCL a post she recently took up following her successful time as Director of OD at UCL.She is a business professional with extensive experience across a range of sectors including higher education, public, private, voluntary and international development.
