Last week we had a new team join us here at the Bridges, Cress Systems have a team of 5 and will be situated in arch 3 between Safety Net and Powervault. Their team consists of Richard Bradshaw (CEO), Phil Medlicott, Beverley Gower-Jones, Carl Bennett and Neil Bradley.

CRESS Systems designs and manufactures energy storage systems for industrial and grid applications. CRESS has proprietary flywheel technology that stores energy mechanically.  Their tech outperforms chemical batteries since they can charge and discharge both rapidly and repeatedly without deteriorating. Their launch market is the shipping sector where they are deploying CRESS to regenerate wasted electricity on container cranes.

Sustainable Bridges location is ideal for CRESS as they are expanding and considering where to base their development centre.

Richard Bradshaw, CEO “Having the Sustainable Bridges facility where we can be near likeminded clean tech companies and the investor community in London is ideal at this exciting time for CRESS when we are expanding our development.”

We’re delighted to have another energy storage company amongst us and we’re excited to be able to see the progression they will make.
